Character's Background:

Oftentimes referred to as 'Stupid Cow' by the Vongola famiglia (not to mention nearly everyone who comes across him), self-proclaimed '5-year-old' assassin of the Bovino famiglia, Lambo Bovino, is seemingly the most unlikely hitman candidate one may ever come across. By initial appearance, he is merely a loud-mouthed, irritatingly whiny child possessing in no way enough skill to support his overly confident attitude, and even though he claims to be 5 years of age, he appears even younger. He hails from one of the smaller, lesser mafia families, the Bovino family, attributed with such trademarks as the use of hand-grenades, harnessing electric energy and the development and utilization of the '10-year incantation'.
Upon the usual first impression, it would be rather easy to mistake Lambo as a sort of Halloween prop. His diminutive body is somewhat nearly overshadowed by his enormous afro-styled hair in which he has a penchant for hiding random items. He possesses two, removable bull-horns in which, with the proper charms, can harness electrical energy - and moreso with much more power when he is in his 'Adult' form.

Outside of Hogwarts, and in his younger form, he dons a tiny cow-printed bodysuit complete with horns and a seemingly functional tail. Contrary to his overtly young appearance, he is actually fifteen years old. By uttering the "10-year incantiation", he possesses the ability to revert back into his 15-year old self - or the other way around. His older self - "Adult Lambo", as this form is called - is the manifestion of himself 10 years from his current self, and contrary to his loud, irritating younger persona, he evolves into a handsome young man and seemingly becomes much more calm and quiet, having a 'cool', non-chalant attitude and acquiring a deep, baritone voice capable of swooning the ladies whenever he speaks. In due time, however, he reverts back into his younger self as a result of the wishes of the family, who sees him more than nothing other than a disappointment. Much to the disappointment of many, however, only tends to rely on this, when he is in pain or under great pressure, or by accident. Even in his adult form, he remains as weak-willed as his younger self and is prone to break down into pitiful sobs each time he is under pressure that he in unable to 'To-le-rate'.

His ultimate dream is to become the boss of the Bovino Famiglia. However, to attain this, he was told by the family that he must do away with the Vongola Famiglia's most-trusted hitman, Reborn. As a result, his obsessive desire to kill Reborn reawakens each time he sees him, and his utterly enthusiatic (and noisy) attempts to do so always tend to end up in humiliating failure as their skill-levels are largely unmatched. His desire to outdo Reborn is so strong, that he left his home-country of Italy and relocated to Japan with the sole motive of pursuing and killing Reborn, which explains his use of the Japanese language at times.

When Lambo recieved his letter to Hogwarts, needless to say, he was overjoyed to have the opportunity to learn how to better Reborn, even though such a move would thwart his attempts to kill him for quite a while. However, the Bovino famiglia thought differently, not quite happy with the prospect that Lambo would definitly serve to be an embarrassment and tar the family name.
